On the Sanctity of Life and Embryonic Stem Cell Research

Making life to kill it, and seeing it as modern, urbane, rational and scientific puts those who espouse the view in league with their NAZI forbearers of the 1930's and 40's. Breeding what is essentially a slave caste solely for the purpose of killing it and harvesting their bodies is the road to perdition. It is an evil after-image of the Incarnation. We already live in a world in which the young are enslaved to the old via taxes and misbegotten government "compassion", and the unborn are enslaved to repay the debt of the profligate, spend-happy, bail-me-out-of-my-own-excess parents.

It is funny how the same people who believe the unborn have no rights nonethless believe it is legitimate to burden the unborn with enslaving debt. Indeed, their egregious spending hinges upon the chimera that the unborn will pay the debts of the living. The unborn, then, have fiduciary viability before the first trimester.

In heaven a fetus killed for its stem cells will meet one allowed to live and they will swap misery stories, but both with the same enemy at the center, and he or she will be old, botoxed, pampered, and unbearably selfish. No wonder superstitious folks in the middle ages told stories of evil queens who bathed in virgins' blood to preserve their youth and beauty. And no wonder monarchy is almost dead. Democracy, or what passes for it, Plutocracy, may be currently in its twilight. Life for the living, freedom for the free; all others, take a number or better yet, an IOU from the Obama administration.
